CERRO AVANZADO TREKKING AND SEALS WATCHING

 

Trekking is one of the most conventional and friendly ways to enjoy natural environment. We propose to enjoy nature by touring the typical geography of Patagonia observing flora and fauna. These short walks are ideal to examine this wild and amazing region. We will visit Punta Loma Provincial Reserve, which houses one of the largest colonies of seals around Golfo Nuevo area.
Departure from accommodation with special 4x4 vehicles, towards Puerto Madryn south and city tour, visiting Punta Cuevas and historical monument "El Indio Tehuelche", Kaiser beach, view spots, Playa Paraná and "Folias" (sunken ship). Stop where the trekking starts: walking unconventional paths up and down canyons, interpretation of inter-mariales areas, flora interpretation through footprints, "Cerro Avanzado" view point, touring through cañadones, stop to observe marine fossils. Then snack, refreshment and visit to Punta Loma Provincial Reserve (seals watching). Finally return to the 4x4 vehicle, and drive towards Puerto Madryn.
