The foothills of the Patagonian Andes offer beautiful places to be enjoyed in a direct contact with nature. That is why we consider that an active holiday is needed to visit the best highlights of Southern Patagonia, which includes walks on the Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre granite needles, the amazing Torres del Paine and the isolated Tierra del Fuego. Mountain, glaciers, dense forest and an exuberant wildlife, plus the escort of an experience leader, constitute this complete tour for the most active enthusiast.

DAY 1 – Buenos Aires
Arrive to Buenos Aires. Reception and Transfer to a central located Hotel. Meet your Tour Leader. In the Afternoon Sightseeing tour visiting all main highlights: Pink House, Parliament, La Boca, San Telmo and the exclusive Recoleta area. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 2 – El Chalten
Early transfer to the Airport for Flight to El Calafate. Reception and drive to El Chalten, a mountain village towards Fitz Roy Massif. The drive across the Patagonian steepe will take aprox 2.30hrs until we get to the Hosteria in El Chalten where we overnight. B

DAY 3 – Fitz Roy Mount
Today we do our first walk in the area to the base-camp of the Fitz Roy. Short drive to the beginning of the trail in Rio Electrico. A soft walk along the river with fantastic views of the Piedras Blancas glacier until get to Rio Blanco where most expeditions used as base-camp. From here there is an option to walk up the hill 400mts to one of the highlights in Patagonia the Laguna de los Tres an isolated lagoon surrounded by Glaciers. In the afternoon we walk down to Capri Lagoon with stunning views of Fitz Roy (3405m) and then continue to our Hosteria in Chalten. (walk aprox 7 hrs). BL

DAY 4 – Cerro Torre Mount – El Calafate
Along with the Fitz Roy, this is the other major trekking area, which ends in a beautiful view of one of the world's most difficult mountains, Cerro Torre. The trail starts from the village, with a slight slope in the first few minutes, always walking along the Fitz Roy river course. At 20 minutes, you will be amazed to find the Fitz Roy River Canyon, and see beautiful waterfalls. From here, you begin to have excellent views of Cerro Torre. Then you reach the first viewpoint, which is ideal for the first rest stop (at 1.30 h from El Chaltén) and also see Cerro Torre, its glaciers and the Adelas cord. If we return to Chaltén from this viewpoint, it would be a 3 hours trekking, ideal for travelers or groups who wish to engage in short activities. After that, we walk (about 1 hour) through a charming valley, with a few undulations, reaching Base Camp De Agostini, where there will surely be the elite of climbers from around the world, waiting to climb Cerro Torre. After a few minutes of walking, we reach Torre Lagoon, with a magnificent view of Cerro Torre, Egger flanked by needles, and Standhard, Bifida and the Adelas cord with its stunning glaciers spilling into the lagoon. Then we head back down the same path to Chalten where the Bus will be waiting to take us to El Calafate. Overnight at Hotel. BL

DAY 5 – Perito Moreno Glacier
Full day Excursion to the magnificent Perito Moreno Glacier, one of the few advancing glaciers. Huge icebergs from the glacier will collapse into the Lake. The roar of the gigantic ice rocks falling and crashing into the waters of the channel is a unique experience. Walks along the footpath to view the Glacier from different viewpoints. We return to our Hotel in El Calafate. B

DAY 6 – Torres del Paine National Park
We depart early morning from El Calafate to Torres del Paine National Park in Chile, through a spectacular landscape of the Patagonia steppe where plenty of wildlife could be seen. Cross the border at Cancha Carrera and continue to the North surrounded by a magnificent scenery. Along the way we visit several panoramic viewpoints of the Nordenskjöld Lake and the Paine Horns, to finally arrive to our Hosteria in the Nat Park. Overnight at Hosteria. B

DAY 7 – Trek to The Towers base-camp
Drive to Laguna Amarga. Cross a suspended bridge and up the slopes of the Almirante Nieto Mount, bordering the Ascencio River. Reach Chileno Refuge and from there the trail leads us through the forest, in the middle of unforgettable landscapes, to Las Torres base camp. We trek to reach Las Torres Viewpoint, an amazing natural amphitheater at the bottom of the vertical granite towers that reach 2800m. (walk aprox 8 hrs). We return to our Hosteria. BL

DAY 8 – Day at leisure
Day at leisure in the Park for Optional treks and excursions: Grey Lake & Glacier, Trek to Frances Valley, etc. or simply relax. Overnight at Hosteria. B

DAY 9 – Drive Torres del Paine National Park to Punta Arenas
Depart in the morning heading South to the fishing town of Puerto Natales Enjoy this picturesque village and continue to Punta Arenas arriving around midday. Time to explore this City and its Museums. Overnight at Hotel. B

DAY 10 – Ushuaia
Morning take the BUS & Ferry across the Magellan Strait to the Island of Tierra del Fuego until Rio Grande. We continue further south getting from Patagonian steepe to the woods of the end of the world, until get to Ushuaia. Overnight at Hotel. B

DAY 11 – Tierra del Fuego National Park
Drive to Tierra del Fuego National Park, close to the border with Chile where the Andes show us a spectacular scenery. Walk among the woods of the National Park and enjoy a canoe ride on this isolated place and its wildlife. Overnight at Hotel. BL

DAY 12 - Buenos Aires
Morning boat trip on Beagle Channel. PM Transfer to the Ushuaia Airport for flight to BUE. Arrive BUE and transfer to Hotel. Overnight at Hotel. B

DAY 13 - Transfer to International Airport for flight OUT. B
